P
aul was born in the West Midlands and started his career in art the early 70's sculpting in wood, before being drawn to working in clay and wax.

After graduating in Ceramics from Dudley College of Art in 1979, Paul set up his own business making sculpture and ceramics which were sold all over the world. Within five years he had a growing customer base that included galleries and private collectors.

Paul then sold his business to concentrate on more exclusive art and went on to work as a commercial designer for various companies around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of New York and has also created some more outlandish pieces including 6 Ten-foot Art Deco Figures for the interior of a night club.

Paul has also sculpted several pieces for the National Trust which were presented in  recognition of outstanding contributions to the Trust.

Paul's inspiration comes from his love of nature and many of his pieces are inspired from direct observation of wild animals in their natural habitat.
