Muhood Tahir was born in Birmingham in 1962.  As a teenager, he worked in the city’s Jewellery Quarter making jewellery, whilst developing a keen interest in classical art. 

He is a self taught artist who has undertaken sculpture, oil painting, mural and drawing commissions for various individuals and corporations in the Midlands. 

In 2005, Muhmood embarked on a three year course at Birmingham City University and graduated in 2008 with a BTEC Diploma in Art and Design. 

He continues to work on new work in new paintings, drawings and sculpture for exhibition around the UK.
